The microbiome of pig and farm environmental samples (including pig gut, soil surrounding the farm, air inside the farm, animal drinking water, wastewater, workers boot soles and slaughterhouse environment) were collected at 5 different timepoints during the rearing cycle in two different Italian farms labeled as H & L. T1: farrowing unit, piglets from birth to 24 days; T2: start of the weaning phase; T3: end of the weaning phase; T4: start of the growing-finishing phase; T5: end of the growing-finishing phase.
