Each pair of square boxes indicates a single isolator with four male and four female germ-free mice for a total of four isolators. Reported in (c) are total species and overlapping species recovered from fecal samples collected on day 49 prior to sacrifice, as well as from the Wild and Captive FMT donor pools.
