Survival ratio (SR) equals the number of surviving shrimps divided by initial number (number of surviving shrimp number was calculated by total weight and individual weight); Unit yield (UR) means weight of shrimp per unit of water volume; Specific growth ratio (SGR) is the ratio of growth rate to days of growth; feed conversion ratio (FCR) was calculated as the number of kilograms of feed that are used to produce one kilogram of whole shrimp. Different lower-case letters represent differences between the two groups that were significant at P < 0.05 according to Mann–Whitney U test. Statistically significant P estimated by Krustkal–Wallis H test is shown in bold
