NMDS of the relative abundances of ASV in Trial 2. Different colours have been used to highlight each sampling day and different shapes to distinguish each farm. A significant impact shaping the gut communities is produced by the piglets’ age (p < 0.001) with two clear clusters between 2-day-old piglets and 21-day-old piglets. A greater richness was observed in 21-day-old piglets when compared to 2-day-old piglets (p < 0.001). Farm and medicated feed were not found to be significant by the NMDS analysis
