Differentially abundant bacterial taxa at the genus level between different gut sections of (a) fresh and two-weeks old and (b) fresh and two-months old alcohol specimens. Blue indicates that the taxon was significantly more abundant in fresh samples, and red that the taxon was significantly more abundant in alcohol samples. The figure only represents taxa identified to the genus level (Additional file 4: Table S5)
