Sialyllactose content of ileal digesta is correlated with presence of SFBs. Ileal digesta content of the combined mean (± SEM) levels of the 3′-sialyllactose and 6'-sialyllactose represented as the metabolomic Scaled Imputed Values as measured in samples from chickens fed the three diets (Panel A). Summated 3′-sialyllactose and 6′-sialyllactose values were regressed on the Log10 [OTU of the SFB] yielding a significant positive linear correlation. (Panel B)
